The Hardy Boyz are getting one step closer to making their return to the WWE video game franchise. WWE Games released the first footage of Matt and Jeff Hardy in WWE 2K26 this Wednesday, July 15.
In the footage, the brothers are rocking the looks that defined their run with the company in the early 2000s. Jeff shows up with his signature face paint and blue sleeves, while Matt is sporting his “Sensei of Mattitude” character.
Their inclusion in the game was already announced back in March, when 2K confirmed both brothers for Ringside Pass Season 4, which was initially expected in July. Jelly Roll and Lady Shani are also part of the additional content.
The return caps off a long stretch away from WWE games for both brothers. Matt Hardy hasn’t appeared in a WWE title since WWE 2K20, while Jeff’s last appearance came in WWE 2K22.
As a team, the brothers haven’t been available together since WWE 2K20.
It’s worth noting that Ringside Pass replaced the traditional DLC pack format in WWE 2K26. The premium track for each season includes four new playable wrestlers, along with Personas, moves, customization pieces, and extra rewards unlocked through in-game progression.
2K has since confirmed that Season 4 is set to launch on July 22, bringing the Hardy Boyz into WWE 2K26.
