Fightful Select reported the timetable Monday. The outlet has not heard whether Caster and AEW have discussed an extension or a new deal, leaving his status beyond the fall unresolved.
Caster hasn’t wrestled for AEW in 2026. His last match for the company came in the Dynamite Diamond Ring battle royal on December 17 Dynamite.
The absence is limited to AEW. Caster has remained active on the independent circuit, including dates for Wrestling Open, Create-A-Pro and Gotham Wrestling. Bobby Orlando defeated him at Wrestling Open RI on July 6.
Caster signed with AEW in November 2020 alongside Anthony Bowens, with the two forming The Acclaimed. They won the AEW World Tag Team Championship, then held the AEW World Trios Championship with Billy Gunn.
The Acclaimed split in January 2025 as AEW moved Caster and Bowens into singles runs. Caster adopted his five-minute challenge gimmick and lost repeatedly before the promotion began moving them toward an unwanted reunion in storyline.
Fightful’s report does not establish that Caster will leave when the deal expires. With no AEW match this year and no reported talks over a new agreement, his future with the company remains open.
