Netflix is once again facing criticism from WWE fans after an edit made to the Night of Champions 2026 replay, which took place last Saturday at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.

The controversy involves the Steel Cage Match between Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker. During the match, Breakker started bleeding from the face, but in the on-demand version available on the platform, his head was completely blurred out at certain points to hide the blood.

The image quickly began circulating on social media, leading to complaints from fans who felt the edit was excessive and looked highly artificial. On Reddit, users pointed out that the blur hurt the experience of rewatching the match.

What stood out most is that WWE itself still has highlights from the match available on its official website and YouTube without that kind of blur. That appears to indicate the decision came from Netflix, and not necessarily from WWE.

Rollins defeated Breakker by pinfall after hitting an Avalanche Stomp, ending a months-long rivalry.

This is not the first time the on-demand version of a WWE show on Netflix has been changed. In January 2025, the replay of Raw’s debut on the platform also received edits, censored profanity, and a shorter total runtime.
