TNA has announced a major World Championship match for July 30, when iMPACT! airs live from the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Nic Nemeth will put the world title on the line against Jeff Hardy in one of the most notable matches of this new chapter for the company on AMC.
Nemeth captured the TNA World Championship at Slammiversary on June 28 in Boston, defeating Mike Santana in the main event. The win marked the start of his second world title reign with the company.

Hardy, meanwhile, is returning to the TNA World Title picture at a symbolic moment. The Charismatic Enigma is a three-time world champion in the company, with 249 combined days as champion, the eighth-highest total in the title’s history.
His most recent title win came on October 14, 2012, at Bound for Glory in Phoenix. That reign ended on March 10, 2013, at Lockdown, when he was defeated by Bully Ray in a Steel Cage Match.
The match also comes with an interesting note. Despite their long careers and major runs in WWE and TNA, Nemeth and Hardy have never faced each other one-on-one with a world title on the line. Their last match against each other took place on May 15, 2025, marking their first singles meeting in 16 years.
