Jeff Hardy has just been revealed as the featured star on the poster for TNA Lockdown. The company unveiled the pay-per-view’s official artwork this Sunday, positioning The Charismatic Enigma behind the event’s traditional steel cage, in art that also highlights his face paint.
The event will take place on August 23 at Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago, Illinois, marking the first Lockdown since 2016 and TNA’s debut at the venue. Every match on the card will take place inside the steel cage.
Along with Jeff and Matt Hardy, names like Nic Nemeth, Mustafa Ali, Moose, AJ Francis, Brian Myers, Leon Slater, Ricky Sosa, Xia Brookside, Elayna Black, Indi Hartwell, Rosemary, and Allie are confirmed for the show.
Jeff currently holds the TNA World Tag Team Championship alongside Matt. The brothers retained the titles against The Great Hands on the July 9 episode of iMPACT!. Before Lockdown, though, Jeff will still challenge Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship on July 30 in Philadelphia, where he could capture his fourth world title with the company.
The choice of Jeff for the poster also carries historical weight. At the inaugural Lockdown in 2005, he defeated Raven in a Six Sides of Steel Tables Match. In 2013, he lost the TNA World Championship to Bully Ray in the main event.
