Tom Hannifan and Matt Rehwoldt welcome us to tonight’s show in Albany. The first match of the night will be for the TNA World Tag Team Championship, as The Hardys take on The Great Hands.
TNA World Tag Team Championship Match: The Hardys (Jeff & Matt Hardy) (c) vs. The Great Hands (John Skyler & Jason Hotch w/ Tasha Steelz)
– Jeff lands a “Swanton Bomb” on Skyler, followed by a pinfall.
After the match, Mustafa Ali walks down to ringside and looks on at The Great Hands and Steelz, both laid out, clearly unhappy with what he sees.
Backstage, Gia Miller asks Lei Ying Lee about the No-DQ Match she has tonight against Xia Brookside. Lee says there’s no excuse for her not to reclaim the TNA Knockouts World Championship tonight, but she also points to losing Brookside as her best friend.
Frankie Kazarian called Moose out to the ring for another edition of The King’s Speech. Moose started off speaking proudly about his win at Slammiversary, but Kazarian began mocking him, saying part of the Albany crowd that night needed therapy.
After a heated back-and-forth between the two, Moose challenged Kazarian to a match, but Kazarian turned him down. That’s when AJ Francis and Expressions showed up. Francis mocked Moose, and so did Kazarian. Moose then challenged him to a match for next week, and Kazarian confirmed the bout.
An Elijah promo aired.
TNA Knockouts Television Championship Tournament: Indi Hartwell vs. Vicious Vicki Venuto
– Hartwell lands a “Hertz Donut” on Venuto, followed by a pinfall.
In a new video, Fabian Aichner states that his next goal is winning the TNA X-Division Championship.
Three Way Match: The System (Bear Bronson & Brian Myers) vs. The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch) vs. Ricky Sosa & Leon Slater
– Sosa lands a “Flying European Uppercut” on Bronson, followed by a pinfall.
Backstage, Daria Rae finds Santino Marella dancing in his “Ricky” style. Ryan Nemeth shows up and says he wants to do something about KC Navarro, since Navarro has been talking about his brother, Nic. Marella says he’s not interested. Rae tells Ryan that Marella doesn’t get it, because he’s got issues with his own daughter. Rae tells Ryan to do whatever he wants.
TNA Knockouts Television Championship Tournament: Jody Threat vs. Gabby Forza
– Threat lands a “Pope Shove-It” on Forza, followed by a pinfall.
Backstage, Mustafa Ali was seen talking with a mysterious figure, telling them that changes are needed and that he plans to make them next week.
In the ring, KC Navarro said he had always believed strongly in Nic Nemeth, but admitted he learned a hard lesson after being attacked last week. Navarro said he doesn’t understand the reason behind it and wants the new TNA World Champion to come out and explain himself.
Nemeth then appeared to heavy boos from the crowd. He said he found out last week that Navarro, despite being very good, doesn’t have everything it takes — and that from now on, he wants him gone.
Navarro fired back, asking how Nemeth could say that when he’d just given Ryan Nemeth a beating. Out of nowhere, though, Ryan appeared from behind Navarro and blindsided him.
With Navarro laid out in the ring, Nemeth demanded that he delete his number and stay away from his family.
TNA Knockouts World Championship – No-DQ Match: Xia Brookside (c) vs. Lei Ying Lee
– Brookside lands a “Dark Side” on Lee, followed by a pinfall.
End of show.
