Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar won the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. On Wednesday night’s special episode of NXT, they defeated Hank Walker and Tank Ledger in the finals.
The tournament, which returned to NXT for the first time since 2024, featured 14 teams from the WWE main roster, NXT, Evolve, and AAA.
When it was time for the finals, Cody Rhodes paid tribute to his father and greeted the four wrestlers in the ring before joining Booker T and Vic Joseph on commentary for the match.

At one point, Dar and Moreno hit a double Cross Rhodes on Hank and Tank. Dar eventually hit the Bionic Elbow, one of Dusty’s signature moves, in a sequence with Moreno, who pinned Ledger for the win.
After the match, Rhodes came to the ring to present the Dusty Cup to the winners and revealed that Robert Stone, NXT’s general manager, has made an NXT Tag Team Championship match for next week. Dar and Moreno will face Vanity Project’s Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes.
