Oba Femi made a surprise return on Monday’s WWE Raw in San Antonio, Texas, two weeks after The Vision took him out. “The Ruler” wasted no time and went straight after the faction.
Things started backstage, where Logan Paul and Bron Breakker confronted Je’Von Evans. Both Evans and Breakker have already qualified for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Evans got in Breakker’s face and slapped the World Tag Team Champion, prompting WWE to book a match between them on the spot.
Evans held his own in a competitive match, frequently countering Breakker’s power advantage. The finish came when Austin Theory pulled Evans off his OG Cutter attempt late in the match, and the referee called a disqualification.
The Vision swarmed Evans after the bell, with Breakker, Theory, and Bronson Reed beating down the Young OG. Femi’s music hit, and “The Ruler” stormed the ring to clean house. He dropped Breakker and Theory, took a steel chair to members of the faction, and finished the segment by launching Evans onto the group at ringside. Femi stood tall when it was over.
Evans has his own history with The Vision — he turned down Logan Paul’s invitation to join the group back in June.
WWE Money in the Bank is scheduled for October 10 in New Orleans.
