Paul Heyman Isn’t Happy After Bronson Reed’s WWE Return

WWE didn't say who called Paul Heyman backstage moments after Bronson Reed returned and laid out Oba Femi.

Paul Heyman Isn’t Happy After Bronson Reed’s WWE Return

Paul Heyman took a call from an unidentified person moments after Bronson Reed’s return at WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event.

Reed showed up late in Bron Breakker’s match with Oba Femi in Atlanta, hitting The Ruler repeatedly with a steel chair and then landing four Tsunamis.

Backstage, Heyman was watching it on a monitor when Cathy Kelley asked him for a comment on what had just happened. Heyman said he had plenty to say, then a call came in before the interview could go any further. He stepped away from Kelley and made clear he wanted to talk to whoever was on the line about what he had just seen.

“OH I WANNA TALK TO U DIRECTLY ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED TONIGHT.”

WWE didn’t say who was on the other end. The storyline leaves plenty of options open, but there is no confirmation that Heyman was talking to Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins or anyone else tied to The Vision and Femi in recent weeks.

What gives the call its weight is Reed’s return. He had been out since February 23, when he suffered a distal biceps tear in a Triple Threat qualifying match for the Elimination Chamber.

Wrestling Noticias will have more on who Heyman was talking to.
