Bronson Reed made his surprise return at WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event after nearly seven months out.
The return came at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, during Bron Breakker vs. Oba Femi, heavily promoted as the match to determine who the future of WWE is. Logan Paul and Austin Theory came out to help Breakker, and Reed followed, attacking Femi with a steel chair. His role in The Vision hasn’t changed.
Reed and Breakker continued the beatdown after the match, with Reed hitting four Tsunamis on The Ruler.
The return had been in the works backstage. PWInsider Elite reported that people in WWE believed Reed would be back on the road full time starting this weekend, with Sunday Night’s Main Event mentioned as a possibility.
Reed had been off TV since the February 23 episode of RAW. He suffered a distal biceps tear that night in a Triple Threat Match against Jey Uso and “Original” El Grande Americano. A spot in the Elimination Chamber was on the line.
