Bronson Reed returned to WWE in very different shape from before his injury, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed backstage.
According to Fightful Select, WWE sources were pleased with the condition Reed was in for his return. He made his comeback at Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6, interfering in the match between Bron Breakker and Oba Femi.
Reed attacked Femi with a steel chair, causing the disqualification, and then hit four Tsunamis on the former NXT Champion. The return also marked his reunion with The Vision, alongside Breakker, Logan Paul, Austin Theory and Maxxine Dupri.
The biggest talking point, though, was his physical transformation. Reed said he weighed 365 lbs when he returned to WWE at the end of 2022. He’s now around 265 to 270 lbs, down 100 lbs.
He used much of his time on the shelf to reshape his physique. Reed suffered a distal bicep tear on the February 23 episode of RAW and underwent surgery four days later, missing WrestleMania 42 and all WWE programming in the months that followed.
