Bronson Reed returned to WWE in noticeably different shape than before his injury.
A day after his return at Sunday Night’s Main Event, WWE released a video from Stamford, Connecticut showing part of his preparation during his time away.
Reed said he weighed 365 pounds when he came back to WWE at the end of 2022. His target during recovery was to return at around 265 to 270 pounds, roughly 90 to 100 pounds lighter.
“By the time I’m back, I’ll probably be around 265-270 pounds. And at my heaviest, when I came back to WWE at the end of 2022, I was 365 pounds. So you’re looking at about 90-100 pound difference since then to now, in the last 3-4 years. I feel like if you don’t evolve, you die. Especially in this business, you have to keep moving with the times. And I’m watching wrestling all the time. I think that puts me in the mood to have like a target and a goal of what I want to do.”
At Sunday Night’s Main Event, Reed interfered in the match between Bron Breakker and Oba Femi, hit Femi with a chair to cause the disqualification and delivered four Tsunamis to The Ruler.
