Bronson Reed is closing in on his return to WWE television after spending more than six months on the shelf with an injury. Creative already has a clear direction mapped out for his on-screen comeback.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, the backstage expectation is that Reed will be back “very soon.” Previous reports indicated that WWE plans to position him as a main event-level heel and push him further up the card.
In late August, Reed traveled to WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, where he filmed promotional material and worked on concepts and revisions for new merchandise. The visit was viewed internally as a clear signal that the promotion has major plans for his re-emergence.

5:18 PM · Sep 3, 2026Reed has been sidelined since the February 23 episode of Raw, when he tore his biceps during an Elimination Chamber qualifying Triple Threat match against Jey Uso and Original El Grande Americano.
He underwent surgery days later, forcing WWE to scrap its creative plans for him at the time, which included his scheduled spot inside the Elimination Chamber.
WWE creative had also discussed a potential feud pitting Reed against Oba Femi for later this year. Femi is instead scheduled to face Bron Breakker, Reed’s former partner in The Vision, at Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6 at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.
