Roman Reigns and LA Knight could be headed for a rematch at WWE Money in the Bank 2026.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, via Fightful Select, the match is currently under discussion within WWE, and there is a strong internal feeling that it will happen at the October 10 premium live event.
The report tracks with recent on-screen developments. On the August 3 episode of RAW, the first show after Reigns defeated Seth Rollins at SummerSlam to retain the World Heavyweight Championship, Knight interrupted the champion and demanded a title shot, even pointing to Money in the Bank as a potential stage for the match.
The following week, Knight voiced frustration over being left out of the tournament to determine Reigns’ next challenger. Adam Pearce assured him that once the tournament wraps up, he would find another path to get Knight into the title picture.
Knight also built momentum at SummerSlam. On Night One, he teamed with Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys to defeat Jacob Fatu and The Usos, with the Megastar finishing Jey Uso with the BFT for the win.
Reigns and Knight have history. The two met for the world title at Crown Jewel 2023, where Reigns retained the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship after interference from Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. Jimmy notably placed Roman’s foot on the rope when Knight was on the verge of winning after connecting with a BFT.
Money in the Bank will be held at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. WWE officially shifted the event to October 10 following a calendar change announced in June.
If the plan holds, Knight would finally get the chance to settle the score with Reigns nearly three years later.
