Liv Morgan now has two major new threats to her Women’s World Championship following a pair of returns on Monday’s Raw in Des Moines, Iowa.
The trouble started during the match between Roxanne Perez and Sol Ruca. Morgan pulled Ruca out of the ring, causing a disqualification. Raquel Rodriguez, Perez and the champion then attacked Ruca, leaving Judgment Day standing tall.
Judgment Day’s celebration didn’t last long. Becky Lynch made her return to WWE and went straight to the ring to confront Morgan. The Man said her run with the Women’s Intercontinental Championship was over and made it clear she now wants Raw’s top women’s title.
Lynch criticized Morgan’s reign, pointing to her lack of title defenses and questioning the champion’s standing within Judgment Day. It was Lynch’s first appearance since June 8, when she competed in the Queen of the Ring Fatal 4-Way Match against Morgan, Alexa Bliss and Chelsea Green.
However, as Judgment Day was leaving the ring, Stephanie Vaquer showed up out of nowhere and attacked Rodriguez and Perez. La Primera had been sidelined since late April after suffering a shoulder injury during an attack by Judgment Day.
Vaquer lost the Women’s World Championship to Morgan at WrestleMania 42.
