Swerve Strickland is one of the most talked-about names in AEW this past Monday, after a post he made on X and quickly deleted.
The former AEW World Champion took to X to publicly question why he hasn’t been appearing on TV more often. The post quickly made the rounds among fans before being deleted.

The situation stands out because Strickland hasn’t appeared live in front of an AEW crowd since his loss to Kenny Omega on the March 25th episode of Dynamite.
According to Fightful Select, his absence was due to him filming promotional material for Warner Bros. Discovery.
It’s still unclear whether the deleted post is part of the storyline or reflects real frustration. For now, AEW seems to have plans for Swerve to feud with Bandido, as seen on recent shows.
