LA Knight has become one of WWE’s most talked-about absences in recent weeks, largely because he has not wrestled a match since WrestleMania 42.
On the first night of the Showcase of Immortals, Knight teamed with The Usos to face The Vision (Logan Paul and Austin Theory) and IShowSpeed. After that, The Megastar still appeared in backstage segments, showing frustration with Jimmy and Jey Uso after they reunited with Roman Reigns, but he was not given a new TV feud.
According to Bodyslam, Knight was scheduled for a brief feud with Gunther after WrestleMania 42. However, WWE changed plans when it decided to move The Ring General to SmackDown, where he shifted his focus to Cody Rhodes and the Undisputed WWE Championship.

WWE itself aired a backstage confrontation between Knight and Gunther on the April 20 episode of RAW, with both men making it clear they had interest in the World Heavyweight Championship. That direction, however, was dropped in the following weeks.
Despite his absence, there is no indication that Knight has left WWE. Sports Illustrated noted that the situation is being treated as a creative matter, not a physical or contractual one. Knight was also recently in Minneapolis doing promotional work for SummerSlam.
So far, WWE has not revealed what is next for LA Knight on RAW.
