Tamina has once again caught the attention of WWE fans for a rather curious reason. Despite not wrestling on the company’s television programming in more than three years, the veteran still has an active profile on WWE’s official website, with her bio, career details, and accomplishments still listed as usual.

Tamina’s most recent match took place on February 27, 2023, at a WWE Main Event taping, where she was defeated by Michin. Before that, her last match on one of WWE’s main shows had come in November 2022 on Monday Night RAW, also against Michin.

The situation has raised eyebrows because Tamina has not been announced as part of any recent round of releases and has never publicly announced an official retirement from the ring. In July 2025, Fightful Select reported that she was still technically under contract with WWE, though she was not listed on any internal roster, did not have a brand assignment, and rarely appeared backstage.

The situation, however, is not entirely new. In 2024, PWInsider had already noted that Tamina remained with the company and was internally listed in a “MISC” section, despite there being no clear plans for her to return to programming.

Tamina debuted on WWE’s main roster in 2010 and had a long run in the women’s division. Over the course of her career, she won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Natalya, as well as the 24/7 Championship on multiple occasions.

At this point, WWE has given no public indication of a possible in-ring return for Tamina. In other words, her future remains unclear, even with her name still present within the company’s official universe.
