Jey Uso is dealing with a delicate situation outside the WWE ring. Takecia Fatu, his wife, has filed for divorce from the wrestler, ending a relationship that, according to documents obtained by TMZ, officially began on February 13, 2014.
In the filing, Takecia says the marriage is “irretrievably broken,” indicating that the relationship can no longer be repaired. The petition also states that the couple has two children, including one minor child, Jeyce, who was born in 2012.
Takecia is asking for primary physical custody of the minor child, while agreeing to share legal custody with Jey. She also requested exclusive use of the family home in Georgia, child support, spousal support, and payment of her attorney fees.
The situation has drawn considerable attention given Jey Uso’s current popularity in WWE. He established himself as a singles star after The Usos temporarily split, won the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble, and captured the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41.
Before that, alongside Jimmy Uso, he had already made his mark as part of one of the most successful tag teams in recent WWE history, while also playing a central role in The Bloodline alongside Roman Reigns.
Jey and Takecia have always kept their family life away from the spotlight. The two met while still in school in Pensacola, Florida, and have two children together, Jaciyah and Jeyce.
So far, Jey Uso has not publicly commented.
