Add as a preferred source on Google IYO SKY left this week’s WWE Raw in Atlantic City, New Jersey, shaken after being attacked by The Judgment Day during her Queen of the Ring celebration.
The Japanese star came to the ring to speak about her win over Liv Morgan at Night of Champions, where she won Queen of the Ring and chose to challenge the reigning Women’s World Champion at SummerSlam. SKY thanked the crowd and promised to beat Morgan again to regain the world title.
However, Morgan interrupted the segment and blamed Danhausen for her loss in Saudi Arabia. The champion said she had been cursed before the tournament final and that things would be different this time at SummerSlam.
Morgan also brought up names she said were destroyed after getting in her way, naming Finn Bálor, Stephanie Vaquer and Rhea Ripley. Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez then surrounded IYO, setting off the attack.
SKY was able to fight back at first, taking down Perez, but she was quickly overwhelmed. Perez and Rodriguez continued attacking SKY as Morgan joined in. Morgan then hit the ObLIVion and locked in a single-leg crab, making SKY scream in pain.
