The Miz’s seemingly endless rivalry with Danhausen produced another ugly chapter on Sunday. The former WWE Champion lost to Danhausen once again at a live event on August 23 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The match took place at the Scotiabank Saddledome and ended with yet another Danhausen victory. The result dropped The Miz’s record against him to a staggering 0-12.
The streak began months ago and quickly became one of the biggest running jokes involving the two. On the April 24 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Danhausen defeated The Miz in their first televised singles match.

1:57 PM · Aug 24, 2026Things got even worse a few weeks later on May 9 at Backlash. Danhausen teamed with Minihausen to defeat Miz and Kit Wilson, with Danhausen scoring the pinfall on the former world champion.
Most of the losses have come on the live event circuit. During the European tour, Danhausen joked on social media that he had faced The Miz seven consecutive days and won every single time.
The rivalry has also cost The Miz TV time within the storyline. In an interview in early August, he blamed Danhausen and General Manager Nick Aldis for his absence following the segment where he was electrocuted by one of his rival’s inventions.
