TNA confirmed on Thursday that Shayna Baszler has signed with the company.
Baszler was already wrestling for TNA and formed Apex with Zoey Serrano. The team holds the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship.
Baszler broke the news during an interview with Denise Salcedo, and TNA made it official on its website shortly afterward. The company also confirmed she is now a full-time member of the roster. The announcement didn’t say how long the contract runs or when it was signed.
Baszler made her TNA debut at Bound for Glory on October 11, when she and Serrano defeated Allie and Kiera Hogan to win the titles.
Serrano and Baszler have started teaming on weekly television. On the October 15 episode of Impact, Apex and Xia Brookside defeated Indi Hartwell, Gabby Forza and Harley Hudson in a six-woman tag team match.
The signing came a few days after TNA announced the addition of Shotzi Blackheart, another former WWE wrestler.
Allie and Hogan are scheduled to address their Bound for Glory loss in a segment on Thursday’s Impact.
