TNA is preparing for a series of contract renewals, as several deals will expire in December.
According to Fightful Select, Carlos Silva, the company’s president, spoke with talent during the recent iMPACT! tapings. Silva said that TNA intends to conduct several negotiations in the coming weeks. He also talked about the company’s upcoming creative plans, which are expected to be set further in advance.
According to Fightful’s list of talent contracts, the contracts of Leon Slater, Xia Brookside and Elayna Black expire before the end of 2026. Moose signed a five-year contract with TNA in 2023, with the deal running through June 2028.
As previously reported, WWE is already keeping an eye on Leon Slater’s future. PWInsider revealed that WWE expected Slater’s contract to expire before the end of 2026. Fightful, on the other hand, points to this fall as the expected timeframe.
Slater won the TNA World Championship at Bound For Glory by defeating Nic Nemeth. TNA has already confirmed that Slater will face Trey Miguel at Destination X on Nov. 15, with the title on the line.
In Xia Brookside’s case, Fightful revealed in January 2024 that she had signed a three-year contract with the company. The exact expiration date of Brookside’s contract has not yet been disclosed.
TNA already has tapings confirmed for the coming months. In addition to Destination X, the company will hold shows in Calgary on Nov. 18 and 19, and in El Paso, Texas, on Dec. 17 and 18.
