Rosemary could be moving closer to a return to TNA television after being sidelined by an injury for more than a month.
TNA aired a new vignette featuring Rosemary, a former Knockouts World Champion, during Thursday’s live episode of Impact from the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas.
The video showed a seemingly calmer Rosemary talking to another version of herself, this one bound in a straitjacket. The segment stayed true to the darker side of her character and made clear that her return is being set up, though no date has been announced.
Rosemary has been out since she was injured at a Fire Star Pro Wrestling event. Fightful reported on August 22 that she was expected to miss significant time, and PWInsider added two days later that no timetable had been set for her return.
Rosemary’s absence forced TNA to change its plans for Lockdown on August 23. Kiera Hogan returned to the company after five years away and replaced Rosemary as Allie’s partner for the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship defense against The Elegance Brand.
On the episode of Impact that followed the pay-per-view, Hogan acknowledged that the titles belonged to Rosemary as well. She and Allie have represented the team ever since and have put the championships on the line again on weekly television.
TNA has yet to confirm when Rosemary will be back in action. The new vignette, however, is the first major on-screen sign that she is on her way back.
