Add as a preferred source on Google AEW has confirmed a huge tag team match for Redemption 2026. Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay will take on The Young Bucks, the team of Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson.
The challenge was issued during the July 18 episode of Collision. The Bucks questioned Ospreay’s alignment with Moxley and the Death Riders, and said Kenny Omega needs to realize as soon as possible that he can’t trust Ospreay.
Moxley later met with Ospreay, and the match was made official. The former AEW World Champion pointed out that his relationship with the Bucks has swung between rivalry and partnership over the past few years, but he made it clear that the match in Montreal will be personal.
Moxley and Ospreay were on opposite sides just a few months ago. After returning at Revolution, Ospreay went straight into the hunt for the AEW Continental Championship, but he was beaten by Moxley at Dynasty.
Since then, the two have formed an unexpected alliance. The team wrestled together for the first time on the July 1 episode of Dynamite, defeating Blake Christian and Lee Johnson, and picked up another win the following week at Beach Break.
AEW Redemption will take place on Sunday, July 26, at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
