Tony Khan left Boston fans with a big tease after this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite wrapped up at MGM Music Hall at Fenway.
Speaking to the crowd after the broadcast went off the air, the AEW president said the city will get a pay-per-view from the company and suggested a surprise tied to the event could come as soon as this Thursday. Fans in the building recorded the comments, which began circulating on social media a few hours later.
The timing doesn’t appear to be a coincidence. AEW remains at MGM Music Hall tonight for Collision tapings, closing out a two-night run in Boston. That means the announcement could come in front of the same crowd that heard Khan’s tease.

Tony Khan is teasing to the Boston Fans that a PPV will be coming to Boston with him suggesting that he might surprise them tomorrow with it…..
Could it be Wrestle Dream or Worlds End???? 🤔🤔🤔👀👀👀👀🔥🔥🔥🔥 pic.twitter.com/GwRdAdtfix
So far, though, the name, date, and venue for the possible PPV remain unconfirmed. On the schedule announced for the rest of 2026, Redemption will take place in Montreal, All In in London, All Out in Chicago, and Full Gear in Phoenix. That leaves other events, along with the 2027 season, as open possibilities.
Boston has already hosted major AEW attractions, including Big Business in March 2024 at TD Garden, which marked Mercedes Moné’s debut. Even so, the company has never hosted a pay-per-view in the city.
It remains to be seen whether Tony Khan will make the announcement on tonight’s Collision or save it for a later date.
