Triple H is not hiding the confidence he has in WWE’s next generation, especially the names who have already started carving out significant space on the main roster.

During a recent appearance on Stephen A. Smith’s show, WWE’s chief creative officer named Oba Femi, Sol Ruca, Je’Von Evans and Trick Williams as talents who could lead the company in the years ahead.

“You always have to be thinking about the future. It’s about hiring youth and putting youth around you, and keeping yourself young in that sense. As a brand, as you see that John Cena’s retiring, AJ Styles retiring, as you see some of these talent at the peak of their careers, you have to have those young talent underneath them.

And when you see this new crop of talent, Oba Femi is going to be as big as anybody has ever been in this business. Sol Ruca has an opportunity to be a standout star. Je’Von Evans, he reminds me of a young Jeff Hardy. Just has this incredible moveset, but has an energy and a youth about him that you can’t look away from. Trick is the personality plus. He’s another guy you can’t look away from.

These are the young talent that are gonna take WWE into the future. You’re seeing them rise now, but two, three, four years from now, these are gonna be the main events of WrestleMania. I promise you.”

The comments come at an important time for everyone he mentioned. Femi is already a two-time NXT Champion, a former NXT North American Champion, the Men’s Iron Survivor winner and a Breakout Tournament winner.

Williams, on the other hand, has already taken the biggest step of anyone in that group. At WrestleMania 42, he defeated Sami Zayn to win the United States Championship, his first title outside NXT.

Ruca has also been positioned as a major star and is currently the Women’s Intercontinental Champion. As for Evans, WWE has been bringing him along more gradually despite his strong momentum, especially since he is the youngest name among those mentioned.
