Cody Rhodes has once again come to Triple H’s defense at a time when WWE’s creative chief remains one of the most scrutinized figures among fans on social media.
During an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, the Undisputed WWE Champion discussed the backstage side of the build to WrestleMania 42 and directly addressed the weight of the position held by Paul Levesque.
“Nobody has a harder job and no one can do that job better than he can do it.”
Rhodes also said there has never been anyone in pro-wrestling history responsible for booking who was loved and revered the entire time. The comment came as Cody was explaining a rare moment of frustration backstage, which he said happened after profanity was used on WWE programming.
Triple H officially serves as WWE’s Chief Content Officer. In that role, he oversees areas such as Creative Writing, Talent Relations, Live Events, Talent Development, and Creative Services.
The praise also stands out because Rhodes has previously admitted that he is interested in holding a similar role in the future. In 2025, he said he would like to throw his name into the mix for that kind of position, while stressing that Triple H was still doing a great job leading WWE creative.
