Wardlow’s Return Teased at AEW All Out

Wardlow, a former TNT Champion, may be on the verge of returning to AEW television. The promotion aired a video package promoting his return during Saturday’s All Out at the NOW Arena in Chicago, as the Wrestling Observer reported.

At All Out in 2019, the promotion aired a vignette that introduced him to fans for the first time, months before his official Dynamite debut.

Wardlow has not wrestled for AEW since March 2024, when he lost to Samoa Joe in an AEW World Championship match. He did, however, return at Forbidden Door 2025, where he attacked Prince Nana and joined the Don Callis Family.

Shortly after that appearance, Wardlow suffered a serious pectoral injury that forced AEW to take him off television once again.

Backstage reports in early September indicated that Wardlow had been showing up at Dynamite and was close to returning to the ring, though he had not yet received official medical clearance at that point. Those reports added that his commitments to Amazon Prime Video’s American Gladiators reboot were not expected to keep him from returning.
