Kofi picked up a big win on Saturday’s AEW Collision from Truist Arena in Highland Heights, Kentucky. The New Level member defeated Lee Moriarty in his first AEW singles match.
Moriarty, the reigning ROH Pure Champion, entered the match unbeaten in singles competition since September 2025.
The match was closely contested until Kofi hit Moriarty with Trouble in Paradise for the pinfall win. Afterward, Kofi and Moriarty shook hands in a show of respect.
Before Saturday, Kofi had not wrestled a singles match since March 30, when he lost to Penta on WWE Raw with the Intercontinental Championship on the line. Penta won that night with the Mexican Destroyer.
Kofi’s previous singles win also came against Penta, on the August 25, 2025, episode of Raw. Xavier Woods and Grayson Waller helped Kofi pick up that win.
Kofi made his AEW debut alongside Austin Creed at All In on August 30. Teaming as The New Level, Kofi and Creed won the AEW World Trios Championship with Swerve Strickland that same night.
