Blake Monroe will finally compete in her first televised main roster match. Giulia has been named as her opponent for her in-ring debut on WWE SmackDown.
The announcement came in exclusive content released by WWE following the August 14 SmackDown in Boston, Massachusetts. Nick Aldis summoned Monroe to his office and revealed that several women on the roster had filed formal complaints over The Glamour’s repeated backstage attacks.
Monroe initially pitched a match against Chelsea Green for the WWE Women’s Championship, but Aldis made clear she wouldn’t be picking her own opponent. Giulia then stepped in and accepted the challenge. WWE has not yet announced a date for the match.
The rivalry between the two has been building for weeks. On June 26, Monroe showed up on SmackDown and attacked Giulia immediately after her win over Kiana James. The following week, the British star laid out both women again.

2:52 AM · Aug 15, 2026As previously reported here at Wrestling Noticias, Monroe was called up to SmackDown after wrapping up her NXT run, where she held the NXT Women’s North American Championship.
Despite the call-up, she had yet to work a televised match since joining the main roster. Monroe did wrestle Jordynne Grace in a dark match before the May 15 SmackDown, but her official blue brand debut continued to be pushed back.
Monroe and Giulia also have history that predates their time in WWE. The two met in a singles match at STARDOM’s 5STAR Grand Prix in 2023, with Giulia defeating the then-Mariah May. They also worked together in multiple tag matches in Japan.
