Blake Monroe Teases Change Ahead of WWE SmackDown In-Ring Debut

Blake Monroe expects her entrance to look different when she finally makes her in-ring debut on WWE SmackDown.

Monroe has been on the blue brand for several months but has yet to wrestle a televised match on the show. Speaking with The Wrestling Classic over SummerSlam weekend, she discussed working with Triple H on the main roster.

“I’ve worked with him a little bit, but obviously I haven’t had my official debut just yet. I’m excited for the entrance because I think my entrance is going to change a little bit. I feel like Triple H is very good at the entrances. I’m excited to see what we come up with.”

The entrance change is still being worked out — Monroe didn’t announce new music, a new set, or any specific details.

Monroe’s last televised match was on April 21 at NXT Revenge, where she lost to Tatum Paxley in a Casket Match for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. She picked up a dark match win over Jordynne Grace before the May 15 SmackDown.

Monroe joined the SmackDown roster on the May 22 episode, and WWE has used her primarily in segments and attacks since. On June 26, she attacked Giulia after the Japanese star defeated Kiana James. The following week, Monroe laid out both women again. She had a physical confrontation with Chelsea Green on July 10 and attacked Candice LeRae on July 17.

The August 7 episode, the first SmackDown after SummerSlam, also came and went without Monroe wrestling on the show.
