Bron Breakker may finally be in line for a significant creative shift in WWE after months of frustration over his positioning on the card.
According to Self Made Pro on the August 11 edition of Self Made Sessions, Breakker has reportedly been confused by the direction his character has taken over the past several months.
“Now, I’ve said this before. It got aggregated. Some people got mad. It’s the truth. The truth is just the truth. Bron Breakker, like Dominik, has been baffled with his creative in recent months.”
Despite his frustration, Breakker is said to lack the personality to push back on the creative team or cause problems backstage.
“As far as I hear from people in WWE, he doesn’t have that type of like boisterous personality. He’s not one of those walk through the curtain, yell at guys type of person. He’s not even the type of guy that when he told something, even if it’s a bad idea, he’s gonna go, ‘What the fuck is this?’ He’s—that’s not his personality, right? But he is of the belief like, ‘Hey man, like this is not where I really saw myself at this point.'”
WWE, however, has apparently already started changing course. According to the same source, the process is being referred to internally as the “Bron Breakker rehabilitation.”
“I don’t know if you saw this, but on Raw, if you remember last week on Sessions, I said that I was told that the Bron Breaker rehabilitation would begin on that show.”
On the August 3 Raw, Breakker dominated Joe Hendry in a one-sided match, finishing him with a Spear. On this week’s show, Oba Femi broke up an attack by The Vision and came face-to-face with Breakker once again, with officials having to step in to separate them.
The apparent creative shift comes even as Breakker currently holds the World Tag Team Championship alongside Austin Theory, with the pair having regained the titles on July 6.
It’s worth noting that WWE: Unreal recently revealed Breakker was at one point considered to win the 2026 Royal Rumble. Triple H, however, expressed concern that pushing him that quickly could create the perception that he was being forced into the main event picture.
