Add as a preferred source on Google WWE confirmed that Royal Rumble 2027 will take place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The 40th annual Royal Rumble will be held in February, but the company has not yet announced an exact date.
It will be the first Royal Rumble held at the stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals, though the venue has already hosted one of WWE’s biggest shows. In 2010, when it was still known as University of Phoenix Stadium, the building hosted WrestleMania XXVI. Arizona will host Royal Rumble for the third time, following the 2013 and 2019 shows, both held in Phoenix.
During Royal Rumble’s most recent stop in Arizona, Seth Rollins won the men’s Royal Rumble match, and Becky Lynch won the women’s.

Royal Rumble will return to North America after the 2026 show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This year’s event was the first Royal Rumble held outside North America. Reigns won the men’s Royal Rumble match, and Morgan won the women’s.
WWE also confirmed the traditional Royal Rumble format, as 30-man and 30-woman matches. The winners will receive championship opportunities at WrestleMania 43.
The announcement is part of a partnership between TKO, the Arizona Sports & Events Alliance and Legends Global. The agreement calls for seven events over three years involving WWE, UFC, PBR and Zuffa Boxing.
