Baron Corbin, the newly crowned WWE United States Champion, is set to appear on MLW programming this Saturday, August 15, under unusual circumstances.
Wrestling as Bishop Dyer, Corbin will defend the MLW World Tag Team Championship as one half of the Skyscrapers against The Good Brothers, in a Tennessee Tornado Match.
The appearance doesn’t represent a new outside booking, though. The match was taped on May 9 at The Signal in Chattanooga, Tennessee, well before Corbin’s return to WWE and months before he defeated Trick Williams for the United States Championship at SummerSlam.

The two teams previously clashed in a Tables Match that aired on June 6. The Skyscrapers retained after Dijak put Anderson through a table, extending the feud into the Chattanooga taping.
MLW even digitally added the WWE United States Championship to Corbin’s shoulder in the promotional image for the bout, capitalizing on his current momentum.
