WWE has scrapped plans for Penta, Je’Von Evans and Oba Femi to face The Vision’s Bron Breakker, Austin Theory and Bronson Reed in a six-man tag at Crown Jewel.

Dave Meltzer noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the six-man was part of WWE’s original plans for the show. WWE changed course because it didn’t feel right to do that match before the World Tag Team Championship was settled.

WWE decided to have Breakker and Theory defend the titles against Penta and Evans on the show.

The title match was announced on Monday’s Raw after Breakker and Reed attacked the challengers. Backstage, Penta and Evans went to Adam Pearce and demanded a title shot against the champions, which Pearce granted.

The two teams faced off on the October 5 edition of Raw, where Penta and Evans won a non-title tag team match. Femi then came out and cleared The Vision from the ring.

Femi has a long history with The Vision. At Money in the Bank on October 10, he beat Reed with the Fall From Grace despite Breakker and Theory interfering in the match.

Crown Jewel will take place on Saturday, November 7, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at 12 p.m. ET.
