WWE Eyes Major MLB Star for Segment With The Miz on RAW

WWE is working to bring one of baseball’s biggest current stars onto Monday Night RAW. Jacob Misiorowski, the Milwaukee Brewers pitcher, is being targeted for the September 28 episode at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

According to WrestleVotes Radio, via Fightful Select, the company has reached out to inquire about Misiorowski’s availability. The plan centers on the fact that the hurler is widely known by the nickname “The Miz.”

Misiorowski, 24, has emerged as one of the premier arms in Major League Baseball. Through the 2026 season, he’s racked up 204 strikeouts with a 1.76 ERA and 0.74 WHIP, leading the National League in all three categories. He was also named an All-Star for the second straight year.

The WWE crossover has actually already begun. The Miz publicly took issue on The Pat McAfee Show with seeing his nickname attached to the Brewers pitcher. On August 7, both appeared on the show and went back and forth over who owns the name, with McAfee dubbing WWE’s The Miz “The Mike.”

That same day, WWE filed a trademark application for “The Mike” covering wrestling and entertainment use, a clear signal the company plans to keep the bit going.

The biggest hurdle will be scheduling. The MLB regular season wraps up on September 27, just one day before RAW, and the playoffs officially kick off on September 29.
