This Monday’s WWE RAW (8/10) at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia is shaping up to be a stacked show, with three matches confirmed and several top names advertised.
General Manager Adam Pearce announced Austin Theory vs. Akira Tozawa, along with Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez teaming up against Sol Ruca and a mystery partner in tag team action. Stephanie Vaquer will also have an in-ring segment, and Becky Lynch is set to appear live.
The headline bout, though, is Penta vs. Laredo Kid in the first match of a tournament to determine the next challenger for Roman Reigns’ World Heavyweight Championship.
The tournament features eight luchadores. Psycho Clown faces La Parka on the 8/15 edition of AAA on Fox, while Dragon Lee takes on El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Rey Fenix meets El Fiscal on the 8/17 RAW. The semifinals are set for 8/24, with the final on 8/31.

The winner will earn a title shot against Reigns on the 9/14 RAW at Arena CDMX in Mexico City.
On the women’s side, Ruca’s tag match continues the storyline that’s been building in recent weeks. Rodriguez captured the Women’s Intercontinental Championship by defeating Ruca on the 7/27 RAW. On 8/3, Rodriguez, Perez, and Liv Morgan once again targeted Ruca before the returns of Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer changed the landscape.
Theory vs. Tozawa is the latest chapter in the ongoing feud between The Vision and Alpha Academy. On 7/27, Theory and Bron Breakker defeated Tozawa and Otis, then continued the beatdown after the match.
Seth Rollins, Oba Femi, Liv Morgan, and AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio are also advertised for this week’s show.
Monday Night RAW airs at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, live on Netflix.
