Rhea Ripley may be left off Night of Champions later this month. WWE has updated promotional material for the premium live event, replacing the current WWE Women’s Champion with Tiffany Stratton.

The change was spotted on the banner of WWE’s official YouTube channel. The original poster featured Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, and Trick Williams. Ripley has now been removed, with Stratton appearing alongside the other featured names.

The detail stands out because Stratton, the current Women’s United States Champion, has not officially been announced for any match at Night of Champions. The event will take place on June 27 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

As Wrestling Noticias previously reported, Ripley is dealing with a knee injury she suffered at Clash in Italy, where she defended the WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill. The injury was confirmed during the latest SmackDown.

So far, WWE has not confirmed how long Ripley will be out. The champion is being evaluated, and the company is still waiting for a clearer answer on her recovery.

The situation could also affect plans for SummerSlam. Recent rumors indicated that WWE had been working on major ideas for Rhea, including scenarios involving Charlotte Flair and Jade Cargill.
