Braun Strowman could be closing in on a third run with WWE, just over a year after he left the company.
A new backstage report says there were talks this weekend about bringing Strowman back. So far, however, no new deal has been confirmed.
WWE told Strowman in May 2025 that it would not renew his contract, and the deal officially expired that July. He wrestled his last match for the company on April 18, teaming with LA Knight to face Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa.

Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman, a WWE Studios co-production, has kept the former Universal Champion connected to WWE since his departure. In recent months, Strowman has also said he would be open to returning to the ring if he received what he considers the right financial offer.
Strowman’s first match since leaving WWE came in July, when he teamed with Kal Herro at a Great Lakes Championship Wrestling event.
This weekend’s reported talks are the first concrete sign in months that WWE may again be considering signing Strowman. For now, though, a return is only a possibility.
