Add as a preferred source on Google Fanatics Fest could take on a bigger role in WWE‘s U.S. schedule in 2027, especially with WrestleMania 43 and the traditional WWE World event taking place outside the country.
The next Showcase of the Immortals will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking the first WrestleMania held outside North America. As a result, WWE World isn’t expected to take place in the United States that week.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, Fanatics is interested in further exploring WWE history at Fanatics Fest 2027. A considerably larger presence of legends is being considered, with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Bret Hart among the names Fanatics is hoping to land for the event.
So far, though, neither has been confirmed. The report reflects only the interest of those behind the convention, which has not yet announced its dates for next year.
The idea gained momentum after WWE’s showing at the 2026 event, held July 16-19 at the Javits Center in New York City. That event featured 28 names connected to the company, including Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Roman Reigns, John Cena, The Undertaker and Trish Stratus.
Fanatics Fest also grew by one day and added more than 90,000 square feet of space. Cody Rhodes and Danhausen were among the most sought-after attractions, while Charlotte Flair drew one of the longest autograph lines of the weekend.
A possible reunion between Austin and Hart would also carry special significance. Their historic WrestleMania 13 match will mark its 30th anniversary in 2027. The Submission Match took place on March 23, 1997, and turned Austin into one of the top babyfaces in WWE history.
In 2025, Austin and Hart appeared together to accept the first WWE Immortal Moment Award, created specifically to honor the match.
