Add as a preferred source on Google Austin Theory, the current WWE World Tag Team Champion alongside Bron Breakker, revealed that it was Paul Heyman who asked for him to join The Vision at the end of 2025.
During a recent appearance on The Early Bird Special, Theory said the WWE Hall of Famer has always been in his corner since Theory arrived on WWE’s main roster.

Even the pandemic era of Raw, when I kind of left NXT and went to Raw to kind of do Seth’s group, that was kind of all Paul Heyman as well.
I’d have to say he’s always had my back and even The Vision group, he wanted me in that and I was like ‘Absolutely.'”
The relationship between the two actually began on July 13, 2019, at EVOLVE 131, held at the former ECW Arena in Philadelphia. That night, Heyman introduced Theory ahead of his Winner Takes All match against JD Drake, which Theory won to unify the EVOLVE and WWN titles.
Theory and Breakker currently hold the World Tag Team Championship after reclaiming the titles from The Street Profits on the July 6 episode of Raw.
