Add as a preferred source on Google Tom Brady is once again nearing a possible WWE appearance. According to TMZ Sports, talks between the two sides are ongoing and may be tied to the former quarterback’s confrontation with Logan Paul at Fanatics Fest.
The incident took place on July 17 at the Javits Center in New York City. After the two traded jabs on stage, Brady slapped Paul before Karl-Anthony Towns and members of the production crew stepped in to separate them.
This isn’t the first time the two sides have talked. Dave Meltzer previously reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Brady and WWE were discussing an appearance at WrestleMania 42, though no deal was in place. Around that time, the company reportedly worked on product ideas under the names “T-Bone” and “The Untouchable Tom Brady.” The Las Vegas appearance ultimately never materialized.

The day before the slap, Brady appeared on Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About? and publicly asked WWE president Nick Khan for an opportunity.
“I need to get an invite. I’ve been waiting for Nick Khan to come up with some storyline for me to get in the mix. I’m retired from football. I have an opportunity to go out there and still showcase I’m a little bit of an athlete.”
Brady also said he could go at least one match and that he’d choose to play a heel, pointing to the resentment he drew during the New England Patriots’ dynasty years as his reasoning.
The rivalry with Paul began in February on Impaulsive and carried into the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in March. After Fanatics Fest, the two also exchanged offensive gestures during the World Cup final at MetLife Stadium.
