The Bloodline storyline is nowhere near finished in WWE. Even after nearly six years of storyline involving Roman Reigns and his family, the company reportedly plans to keep the saga among its top storylines for several more months.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, the internal expectation is for the current phase of The Bloodline storyline to continue through at least WrestleMania 43. The Rock’s involvement, however, remains completely up in the air.
“From what I was told early on, this Bloodline saga is going all the way through WrestleMania. Now, is that including The Rock? Yet to be seen.”
Previous reporting from False Finish had indicated WWE may be planning to take the storyline even further. The company is reportedly working toward having the angle continue beyond WrestleMania 43 rather than necessarily delivering its major conclusion at the event.
The Rock could still end up getting involved in the storyline again. While no WrestleMania appearance has been confirmed, WWE recently added the Final Boss to promotional material for talent tryouts set to take place in Hawaii alongside Roman Reigns and The Usos.
Zilla Fatu is another factor pointing to WWE’s long-term plans. Umaga’s son recently debuted in NXT, but there is already an internal expectation that his run on the brand will be brief. People within WWE believe putting him alongside his cousins on the main roster could help set up his future with the company.
