Add as a preferred source on Google WWE is planning a late change to the top of the card for tonight’s SummerSlam Night One at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
PWInsider reports the Hell in a Cell match between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi is currently slated to go on last. Match order can always change up until bell time.
If the plan holds, CM Punk’s Undisputed WWE Title defense against Cody Rhodes will go on before the Cell. Punk and Rhodes had been positioned as the top match of the night, especially after closing Friday’s SmackDown.
Lesnar and Femi come in 1-1. Femi went over Lesnar at WrestleMania 42, and Lesnar got the win back at Clash in Italy. Tonight is the blowoff to the trilogy.

The stipulation cuts differently for each of them. It’s Femi’s first Cell match, while Lesnar is 2-0 inside the structure, beating The Undertaker in 2002 and again in 2015.
Lesnar has closed nine SummerSlams, more than anyone else in the show’s history. If the plan holds, this would be his 10th time in that spot. His last was 2022 against Roman Reigns in a Last Man Standing match.
Night One starts at 6 PM ET and streams on ESPN Unlimited in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
