Jacy Jayne may be getting a much bigger spotlight than originally expected on Friday Night SmackDown. The shift comes just weeks after Fatal Influence made its WWE main roster debut.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, sources connected to the creative process said WWE has already rearranged some plans for the women’s division due to the strong crowd reaction to the group formed by Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Lainey Reid. The idea now is to present Jacy more prominently in the coming weeks.
The trio debuted on the April 24 episode of SmackDown, when they attacked Paige, Brie Bella, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss during a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match. Later that night, the group also got involved in Jayne’s match against the new WWE Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley.

Since then, Jayne has started receiving major opportunities. On May 1, she defeated Charlotte Flair in a singles match after another Fatal Influence interference. One week later, the trio defeated Ripley, Flair, and Bliss in a Six-Woman Tag Team Match.
It is still unclear exactly which plans were changed. However, the direction appears to be for Jayne to take on a bigger role on SmackDown, especially after quickly being placed opposite top names in the women’s division.
Jayne arrived on the main roster after a standout NXT run, where she became a two-time women’s champion.
