WWE is not expected to make another round of releases in the short term, despite the uncertainty that followed WrestleMania 42.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, everyone affected by this phase of cuts has already been informed. One or two more names could still surface publicly in the coming days, either because the person has not addressed the situation on social media or because WWE has not yet updated its website, but the main wave is considered over for now.
The known list has already passed 30 departures since the end of the Showcase of the Immortals, including 18 main roster names. Some of the most notable exits include Kairi Sane, Aleister Black, Zelina Vega, Motor City Machine Guns, Santos Escobar, and every member of The Wyatt Sicks.
WWE has reportedly finished cutting talent for now.

"I am told that cuts are done. I don’t know if we know every name, but every name has been told. So if someone was told and did not go on social media or they did not remove the name from the website yet, it is possible a name… pic.twitter.com/zBlzE91na1
Meltzer also noted that the cuts were directly tied to two factors, with new names coming up from NXT to the main roster and SmackDown eventually moving back to two hours, which reduces the weekly television time available for talent. According to the report, TKO requested a reduction in the talent budget, while WWE’s creative team decided which names would be cut.
The Wyatt Sicks stood out because the group had still been getting television time, while Black and Vega were surprising names given how often they had appeared on SmackDown before their exits. Sane had also been involved in the storyline between Asuka and IYO SKY.
It remains to be seen whether WWE will make any creative adjustments to explain those absences on programming over the next few weeks, especially on Friday Night SmackDown.
