WWE could be lining up another round of roster exits just days after one of its largest waves of cuts in recent years.

Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net reported Saturday that he had heard of more WWE exits. He did not name anyone involved and did not specify whether the moves were outright releases, contract non-renewals or departures that had already been planned.

The report follows the cuts that began April 24, when several talents were let go ahead of Friday Night SmackDown. The names made public included Uncle Howdy, Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Alba Fyre, Zoey Stark, Aleister Black, Zelina Vega, Kairi Sane, Motor City Machine Guns, Apollo Crews, Santos Escobar and multiple NXT talents.

According to Fightful Select, many talents were notified around 5 p.m. ET. Internally, the distinction between a release and a simple non-renewal was still unclear in some cases, which is why the term departures has been used cautiously.

The same report said the decisions ran through Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Nick Khan and Talent Relations. They were described as a way to create room for new signings and to get ahead of a possible SmackDown move back to a two-hour format.

WWE has not commented publicly on the potential new exits. If confirmed, names are expected to begin circulating in the coming hours.
