WWE’s new partnership with Bleacher Report has raised questions about the future of AEW’s relationship with Warner Bros. Discovery, but WBD says the two agreements are entirely independent of each other.
The agreement, announced Monday, will give Bleacher Report global highlight rights to all of WWE’s programming, including Raw, SmackDown, NXT and premium live events such as WrestleMania. The highlights will be distributed across B/R, House of Highlights and B/R Wrestling, as well as on digital platforms and social media.
A WBD spokesperson told POST Wrestling that the WWE partnership does not replace any existing agreement with AEW. According to POST Wrestling, the spokesperson emphasized that point and said no similar deal exists for AEW highlights, though one could be reached in the future.
WBD also made clear that the deal does not allocate a specific number of posts or amount of promotion to WWE, and that Bleacher Report will continue to base its coverage on the topics, wrestlers and moments that generate the most interest among fans.
AEW renewed its media rights deal with WBD in October 2024. The agreement keeps Dynamite on TBS and Collision on TNT, and it also includes simulcasts on HBO Max in the United States and expanded rights to distribute content on social media.
