Adam Copeland and Christian Cage do not view their AEW All In match against the Young Bucks as just a dream match.
Renee Paquette hosted a sit-down interview with the reigning AEW World Tag Team Champions and Matt and Nick Jackson on Wednesday’s Dynamite. Both teams discussed their impact on the division, and Copeland credited the Bucks with helping keep tag team wrestling relevant during a down period.
Cage made it clear that he and Copeland did not return for a retirement tour. Their goal is to prove they are not just the best team of their generation, but the best of any generation.
Matt and Nick are three-time AEW World Tag Team Champions. A win at Wembley would make them the first four-time champions, moving them ahead of FTR.
The title match was made official at Redemption this past Sunday, the same night Copeland and Cage retained the championship against PAC and Claudio Castagnoli and the Bucks defeated Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay.
Although all four men teamed up in May, the two teams have never faced each other in a tag team match. The August 30 match at Wembley Stadium will be their first.
